Awaiting “Arthur” 7-5-14

The US is sending “Arthur” north to Nova Scotia.  Though downgraded now – we are anticipating 40-60 mph winds and rain later today.  We took a drive to Peggy’s Cove to see the waves and wind.  The little coves are a bit choppy, but at Peggy’s the wind does blow:

We drove around the cove – circling back to Halifax and to Wayside Campground.  Surprise – the sun came out – the wind does blow.  We’ll see what Arthur gives to us later today…….

Again drove to Peggy’s Cove to see “Arthur” in action later in the day.  The sea is still boiling and the winds do blow!

And over night the storm blew away. New Brunswick and PEI got most of the storm.  We had no expected rains.  7/6 and the sun is shining – time to go touring in Halifax.

Great picks. Glad Arthur was puny by the time he arrived.
