Twillingate 7-21-14

Icebergs are a wonder to see!  Last year there were no icebergs until September.  This year they are lasting longer than usual traveling from Greenland can take a long time.  They can be seen from several vantage points – low along the water or high from up above!

Around the corner at twighlight this was a beautiful view of the iceberg.IMG_0621

Today it was a boat ride to see the icebergs up closer, a whale or two and maybe a Mermaid!

The wind and storms can tip the ship, but only you can tip the crew!

IMG_0746This iceberg recently calved.  We can hear it cracking- waiting for it to break again – but guess not today.

Another grand sunny day – tonight a Newfie Dinner and Show!

Awesome ice, what's the water temp? Is the water clear? It looks like it.
