6-14-2013 We spent a quiet night with ‘Fred Meyer’ in Wasilla, then headed south on Hwy #1. Just a bit ‘foggy’ on the water of Turnagain Arm.
With beautiful mountain views along the inlet.
With Denny being 70+ he got the ‘super senior’ rate to take the Alyeska Resort Tram Ride – what a beautiful view….. there’s still plenty of snow. (note the water in the bay)
And back along the water to enjoy the views…..
The lupine are blooming a plenty…..
Back to the RV for supper and along came a moose! Always neat to see them……just across the parking lot.
There’s time for one more trip up the tram…… (check the inlet ---tide is going out with lots of mud flats visible).
Time to relax a bit, enjoy the ski hill view and surrounding mountain tops.
