5-23-13 Enjoying the mountain views here in Palmer. Sunset is now after 11pm and up again about 5am. The lake seemed to thaw overnight. The snows have melted in town, and even the mountains are shedding their winter coats of snow. Have taken scenic drives – been out to lunch. Planning a move to Fairbanks Saturday.
Steve Dudley had orthoscopic knee surgery today. He’s not quite up to fishing today.

When we stayed in Palmer/Wasilla area in 2010, we visited the West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Center. They have tours every Friday. We loved our tour. http://wcatwc.arh.noaa.gov/?page=visit
Each Friday, the WCATWC offers three tours at 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm
Please contact WCATWC at 1-907-745-4212 if visitor groups will exceed 6 people
