Anchorage–Palmer

5-21-13  -- Sunny bright 50’s today.  Visited museums in Anchorage.  The visitor center has a great display of wild animals, nature displays and films to view.

The Wells Fargo Bank has a wonderful display of local native artifacts.  This water proof jacket was made from seal gut.

The Air Museum was also interesting.

Especially unique is the front axle only truck that moves planes at the airport.

And back at the Palmer Elks – the ice is melting on the lake.  The snow is melting on the distant mountains.  Enjoying the views!  Steve and Fred are fishing, but the catch is slim pickings
