We enjoyed our 1st NY SKPs Rally in Marathon, NY
----- of course Denny had another RV project…… Yep, the Alternator is
fried. Thanks to Earl Gates, Denny was
encouraged to tackle the challenge and replace it himself.
The rains continued to RAIN and RAIN and Rain. Thank goodness, the campground had a huge,
dry shed for the rally activities.
We were adopted by Marg & Bill Merpaw with grandparents
Fred & Phyllis Lyngard – a happy family picture……. Nice to have terrific
SKP family friends.
With choices for daytime activities we went to a really neat
car museum – Northeast Classic Car Museum in Norwich, NY. Thank you Earl Gates for hosting this event.
Again, many beautiful old
homes scattered about town.
Denny iniated Earl Gates as
continuing Vice President for NY SKPs.
The Pound CARE auction
brought many surprise gifts and many $$$ for CARE. You just never know what a Victoria Secret
bag will hold………
A terrific rally, lots of new SKP friends and great memories…..

Isn't it amazing how much fun you can still have with SKP's even if the weather is horrible?
When in Canada or anywhere that you have internet, but no or expensive cell service, we use WHATSAPP on our "smart phones" to send text messages.
We have a blog on our trip to the Maritime which is still available at mytripjournal.com (search for Konkler) this may help find some of our highlighted spots along your way.
