6-9-13 – Awoke early 5:30am – the sun is shining with blue skies. Caught the 6:30am bus hoping to see Denali. And WHA-HOO!!!!! Our first glimpse of Denali!
And it just gets better! View from Eielson Visitor Center.
With grand views along the road going north to Wonder Lake.
By the time we got to Wonder Lake ~10:30am – the clouds had moved in and Denali was gone!
Gone from the pond along the road…….
Gone from Eielson Visitor Center…….
And left with a scenic drive back to Teklanika Campground!
A beautiful day in the neighborhood!
